Our Story

Welcome to our Western Cape laboratory, a trusted extension of Envirocare’s renowned testing services. Our story began in Potchefstroom, where Envirocare’s exceptional growth and success led to an increasing demand for local testing services in the Western Cape.

In response, Ilse and Gawie Simpson, owners of the Potchefstroom laboratory, partnered with Simone de Wet to establish a sister laboratory in the Western Cape. Simone, a microbiology expert and former Envirocare employee, shared a passion for delivering high-quality testing services.

This partnership blossomed into a successful business venture in 2021, with Gawie Simpson as Managing Director, Ilse Simpson as Quality Manager, and Simone de Wet as Laboratory Manager. Our Western Cape laboratory operates with the same values and high standards that have earned Envirocare its reputation for excellence.

While we specialize in microbiological analyses, we also offer a comprehensive range of testing services through our partnership with the Potchefstroom laboratory. This collaboration ensures our clients in the Western Cape receive seamless access to Envirocare’s full scope of services.
